Melbourne- Three Drops Espresso, La Trobe Reading Room, Carlton Garden, The Blue Room

Day 4
Photography copyright @ Kai Zhe Yeu
#1 Three Drops Espresso
https://www.facebook.com/ThreeDropsEspresso

Early in the morning, when people in the city were busy walking to work, we were looking for breakfast. We accidentally spotted this small cafe. I was attracted by the aroma of the coffee and the delicious looking pastry. We sat at the small table on the side while people walk in and out for coffee.  Although I can't drink coffee, I love the smell of it which is not too strong but smells good. I had spinach roll. The hot oven baked spinach roll filled with cheese and eggs was finger- licking good. Hope to get the recipe of the spinach roll and baked it by myself.. miss it so much !! Both bro and dar enjoyed their pastry too... Their pastry are really nice!!! It's definitely a great place to stop by before you begin your adventure in this beautiful city.

#2 La Trobe Reading Room, Melboure City Library

Nice shot taken by bro !
The only reason we went to the library is because of this: The La Trobe Reading Room. The reading room with a dome looks so elegant. I felt like I am from one of those prestigious school, studying elegantly in the library. Hahaz.

#3 Carlton Garden

This is a must go place. I love the sun, the greenery and the smile on our face. We took photos of each other, sat down and relax. :)))))

Bro looks so handsome !!!

We were lucky, not all the trees were botak yet.

#4 The Blue Room Restaurant

At night, we met up with high school friends. Chit-chat and chill~ ~ ~ ~ Love it :) Maybe because I was too hungry at that time, all the foods taste yummy..The pizzas were baked from traditional oven. Risottos was good too. Not to forget wine in Aus are cheap. So we had a bottle of wine too.

Cherish each and every moment ...

Jay Chou Opus World Tour Malaysia

My dream comes true ! Encountering different stages of my life, from teenager to young lady, from first crush to quarrel, from first love till now, I still listen to his music... <3 Undeniably, his musics play all my memory, all the joys and sorrows. I felt so so so touched and blessed in the concert with my love, dar. Although I was screaming my lungs out for another guy (JAY!!!!!) , he accompanied me with a smile on his face, without any complains. I sang along with Jay, which is unbelievable.. Lots of emotion, lots of playback and so enjoy! I was not afford to get the expensive tickets, but I was glad I went for the concert.
I love the concert so much and I love Jay ♥

From my seat, I can't see him clearly in real :(
Maybe we will meet  again some day. 再給我兩分鐘 讓我把記憶結成冰.

Melbourne 墨尔本- St Paul's Cathedral, La Belle Miette, Philip Island

Day 3
A brand new day to kick start, it took us some time to figure out how the tram fare works. At first, we thought that we can only take twice per day for that price. We end up walking around from streets to streets, which is quite nice, we looked around more. But you can actually take more than 2 rides with the same charge if you are travelling in the same zone. Anyway, we just woke up early around get to our first destination.

#1 St Paul's Cathedral
There are a lot of churches around, but this is the famous one. No entry fee but we get a photography permit cost around $5 if I had not mistaken. I felt everything described in my Art History Class so true.

#2 La Belle Miette
http://labellemiette.com.au/mac/P.S. Highly recommend !!

Dar brought us to a sweet place for Macarons. WEE~~ I am not a macarons lover, but this is so romantic. And so much better than the one I tried in Columbus, which is already considered good. The tastes, flavors, texture, color and aroma: PERFECTO! The stall is small and located in a small lane with other cafes, I felt like I was in Paris. Hahaz.

#3 Philip Island Penguin Parade

Yeah. We had a half day tour to Philip Island Penguin Parade by The little penguin bus . This trip is grade A +++, Budget Express of Penguin Parade cost:  $65 (promotion rate). I really enjoyed the trip, 2 hour scenic drive (countryside view, sea view, mountain view) Totally amazing~~ AMAZING. Different from other tour, the tour guide Mac brought us to some secret places in the Philip Island before seeing the Penguin Parade. At the Penguin Parade, we had extra time than other tours, we spent our time long enough to see little penguins coming out from the sea towards their burrow and around the bushes. The little penguins are so so so cute but so sad no photography allowed. During our time, we saw about 50 little penguins.. :)

left corner of the photo is where we sit to wait for the penguin coming up from the sea to their little burrows

we even spot wild  wallaby

I love Melbourne more and more... Look forward for the next post
