Online shopping

Halo. I am so so happy to receive my parcel this afternoon. I guess most of the girls out there will nod their head that we love it when the parcel arrives in front of our door. It's like a present but we all know we spend money to buy them. Hahaz. But who cares, I just love online shopping.   I count on how many days left for my present to arrive. I keep on track on my parcel before it arrives and finally it's here.

Nicely package - waterproof - no worries even it's raining outside.

I get some Chinese New Year clothes from Cotton On. You might think isn't cotton on from Australia or Singapore. Ya you are right, I wanted to try something different and Cotton On just launched their US website last year. So, I give it  a try. I had never been to any Cotton On store but surprisingly I get the size that suits me. I did some research over their size guide and compared with the US size charts. I find out, if you wear US s size, get xs for Cotton On Clothes.

2 dresses, 1 long sleeve tee, 1 oversize top which cost around $39 USD

I love the printed dress the most ^ ^

The dress with nice collar details costs only USD 10

Overall, it was a great buy. There is a massive sale going on. Do check Cotton On Website.

p.s. I will wear the printed dress for CNY. Hahaz. CNY is a great excuse to shop. hehe.

Stay Tune.

Where I stay in Columbus

Halo. I think I never really describe and show photos of where I am staying. Even my dar complained that he never look around my new house cause I just moved over to a town house last August. I was like haiyo every house looks the same. But then I start thinking, it kinda looks different from Malaysia sweet home.
Take a look at my place. I am staying at a 2 story town house with a big living room, a bathroom, a kitchen and 2 bedrooms.

Start off with the lovely photo of me and neighbors. The weather is so good today 16 degree C. Columbus weather is driving crazy. But I like it! At least a day without those thick coats.

Hope you get to know more about my place!

Baking Time- Cornflakes cookies

Halo. Although there will be no public holiday in the states, but I am looking forward for Chinese New Year. My facebook's news feed is fulled with Chinese New Year photos and songs which make me homesick. I miss CNY cookies so I decided to bake Cornflakes Cookies, special recipe from my sifu (Aunty Siew Sian).

Cornflakes cookies recipe:
1. 500g marjerin
2. 340g sugar
3. 2 eggs
4. 750g self raising flour
5. 280g raisins
6. 500g cornflakes

A. Cream 1& 2, then beat in 3.
B. Sieve 4 and mix in 5& 6.
Fold A into B.
Make round cookies and bake it in 165 degree C for 20 minutes or till it turns brown.
It's simple and easy. I enjoy baking!

Ingredients: self-rising flour/ all purpose flour # large egg, # raisins # cornflakes # powdered sugar

I can't find my mixer, so I use fork instead.

I can't find any red lids container. >.<  Only blue.
After baking (if you like it to be even darker in color , bake in higher temperature and 3 mins longer)

Looks good!

It tastes good ! ^ ^

Bake it and share with your friends and families. I am sure they will like it.

Drinking Games

Halo. Yesterday night, I attended my friend- Syn Dee's Belated Birthday Party. It was at 10: 30 pm and me and my neighbor- Callie were like damn lazy to change our clothes and put up layers of thick and heavy winter jacket, coats, and boots. We love to stay indoor with the heater on. But anyhow we forced ourselves to change and we are ready for -4 degree C. Yayaya, I know that I should appreciate that,  the temperature is increasing. Good, we are ready to go.

We have lots of fun, laughter and beers. So, I would like to introduce some drinking games. It's fine if you know it but it may be new to some of you who don't drink that often (ME ^ ^ ) Btw as a dietetic student, I would like to remind you that over- drinking is not good for health and alcohols contain 9 kcal- FAT ! Moderation moderation!

The party goes on !
1. Flip cup.
First, divides into 2 teams(same number of people), line into 2 rows facing each other on a rectangular table. Everyone with a 1/4 cup of beer (or even substitute it with soda).
Someone drop a beer can to start the game.
You drink. You flip and the next person goes on. Which ever team that finishes first wins the game.

How you flip

Lots of fun

2. Beer Pong

"The true sport of men. Generally played in pairs of two, players attempt to toss or bounce ping pong balls into cups, each of which is filled with 1/3 of a beer. When a player makes a shot into a cup of the opposing team, a player from the opposing team drinks the contents of the cup and removes it from the table." (PCBEACH)

3.  Boom
It's kinda difficult to explain. So i copy and paste. hahaz

"A drinking game created at the University of Dayton. A combination of Beer Pong and Speed Quarters, where solo cups are filled a third of the way with beer and put on a circular formation. Two players start with an empty solo cup and a ping pong ball and try to bounce their ping pong ball into their cup. If they bounce the ball into the cup on their first try, they can pass the cup and ball to anyone else at the table. If they bounce the ball after their first attempt, they pass it to their right. If you bounce the ball into your cup and the person to your right has a cup already, you hit their cup off the table, yell loudly "BOOM!", and that person must drink a beer from the formation in the middle. The last person to get "boomed" has to drink a full beer." (Urban dictionary)

Take a look at this~

Lastly, group photos and once again Happy Belated Birthday Syn Dee!

My super idol

Halo. I decided to write about him- Jay- my super idol. It has been a while from his 12th album being released and you know what I managed to get his album in the states. Wohoo! I am so so so grateful to have a sweet Taiwanese friend - Liu An. She went back during the 3 weeks winter break and get the album for me. Guess how much is it selling in Taiwan.

You will not believe it. It costs only 12 USD which means approximately RM 36- RM 37.
RM 37!!! what, damn cheap right. I remembered I used to spend more than RM 100 to pre-order Jay album. So does it mean the shipping fee from Taiwan to Malaysia costs RM 63? Ok, whatever~ I will still buy the album!

My mum used to go to Hong Kong Video music shop and pre-order it. Oh. I miss those days.. My mum- my best friend on earth - likes Jay too! hahaz. Jay has been into my life for at least 9 years. From secondary school to uni life, his songs are my good accompany. SO, although he changes his new hair color- gold, I still  LOVE him.

The postcards

The postcard I love most hahaz which you can see from most TV shows
Look at his eight packs!

Snowing

Hi. This winter semester, I no longer have seven am class in the morning *yippy* but I need to write nutrition assignments in perfect grammar (cause my TA deduct marks for grammatical error). By the way, I am majoring in dietetics.  So, here am I, start to blog to write better in English.

See how thick the snow is! Half of my boots are missing.

This is my second winter semester in Ohio. Last year, it didn't snow that heavily. This year, the weather goes mad. I had been through the coldest day in my life, it was -14 degree C last Tuesday. Can you imagine how freaking cold is that. My foot and nose were numb! I can't feel them and I felt like my ears were going to drop if I touched on them. I am so proud of myself  *clap clap* that I can adapt to the weather changes and I pray hard not to cough and catch a cold again. Never, cause it takes so long to recover.
